About Me

Hi, I’m Josh. I live in Chicago.

This is just a place on the web for me to post rants and raves, updates on my largely boring life, and things I find interesting and amusing. It’s always a work in progress.

Up until now this “About Me” page has been lamely vague. Or perhaps vaguely lame. I’m not sure which. Either way, it sucked. So I’m going to try to add more about me. It will not be a boring narrative (“I was born a poor black boy…”) but rather little tidbits that define who I am. Bullet points, if you will. But I won’t make them actual bullet points, you see. That would be stupid. I’ll add to this page as things occur to me and I have time.

I like blue. Actually I love all things blue (what’s the name of this site?). I love Pepsi, but I try not to drink much pop (not soda). I love Doritos but I’m trying not to eat those either. Pepsi and Doritos together > Sex.

I’m generally sensitive but occasionally oblivious; my obliviousness can sometimes come across as rudeness, which I sometimes realize later. I think too much and analyze everything. I’m a worrier. I blame my mom for that; she’s a worrier too.

I was born and raised in Wisconsin. Yeah that makes me a cheesehead. I don’t want to live there again but I have a strange affection for and pride in the state. I love cheese. Muenster is my favorite for sandwiches. I am a fan of the Green Bay Packers. I miss Brett Favre.

I love Chicago but am no longer in love with it. I don’t love noise. I’m a light sleeper.

I’m a meat eater, but love veggies too. I eat a lot of chicken. My favorite entree is lasagna. In that sense I’m like Garfield.

I love animals (but not mice!). I have a cat named Dusty, and she’s a big fur ball.

I talk to myself, and occasionally laugh at myself. I like people. I hate people. I drink sometimes. I don’t smoke; I hate smoke. I don’t use drugs. I like semi-colons.

I am interested in politics, though I find them sleazy and frustrating most of the time. I’m mostly liberal. I think for myself, not what a party says I should think.

I have master’s degree and I am gainfully employed.

I am in a relationship.
