Some statistics from my commute this morning:
Temperature: 0 F
Wind Chill: -10 F
Time spent waiting for a bus: 24 minutes
Buses that should have gone past: 5-9*
Buses that actually went past: 3
Buses too full to fit anyone on: 2
Number of people that fit on other bus: 4-5
People waiting at bus stop: 20ish
Total commuting time: ~54 minutes
I eventually gave up and took a different bus route to a different train (Armitage bus to the brown/purple line, for any locals) which is out of the way, but I was too cold to care.
Once again, I repeat: Fuck you, CTA!
