I propose

… that all managers of white collar workers get 1 day off a week, so their employees get one day free of interruptions for stupid questions, requests for status reports, and the need to stop whatever they are working on to do this thing the manager has had on their desk for three weeks which is now due tomorrow.
… that any man 5′6″ or under be required to use the shorty urinals if there are any.
… that all Illinois lawmakers and the Governor be forced to commute on the CTA every day for a week.
… that charging a dollar or more for a bottle of filtered tap water be considered price gouging.
… that the former smoking sections in restaurants be converted into family sections; anyone who has children with them will have to sit in those sections.
… that we “fall back” a day later so I can actually get an extra hour of sleep when I need it.
… that if Americans actually got enough sleep we wouldn’t be so dependent on coffee & Coke.
… that you should play World of Warcraft.
… that you really shouldn’t buy Britney’s album.

Hey! I’m only 5′6″!
Other than that, I’m really with you on all of them, though there will be no WoW for a while thanks to Leopard.

Oh ok. . . I’ll change it to 5′5.5″ or under.
No WoW on Leopard? That is terrible. Glad I haven’t switched. Actually I don’t really see a compelling reason to pay for the upgrade to Leopard at this point. I’m still working my way through the Ars Technica review you pointed out (that thing is long!) but it seems like the UI changes are largely for the worse and it will take awhile for the changes under the hood to make much of a difference since they mostly require developers to change their applications.

Well, Leopard+Firewall = Must Reinstall WoW from scratch. I was playing it fine until I realized that upgrading to Leopord turned off my firewall, so I re-enabled it.
There are some very good features to Leopard. Mounting drives is much easier and a better interface. We finally get a built-in vnc/apple remote desktop client, with interface directly through finder. This was the main reason for the upgrade for me, since I have 2 mac mini’s i remotely control at home. Also, the new Mail.app with integrated rss, notes, and to-do items is pretty snazzy.

I’m pretty sure I agree with everything you say there. Also, how tall is Ricky?

Ah, well I only have a MacBook. I never mount drives and I never use an email client (except at work). . . I haven’t in years. So it sounds like there’s neat stuff there, but still not compelling for me, especially considering the rather poor educational discount for Leopard.
Joe:
I’m pretty sure Ricky is over 5′5.5″. But you missed a funny argument between Mrs. Ricky and Gregg over who was skinnier. They both claimed to weigh 130#.

Somehow, I don’t believe that…
